On the road in Tanzania between Lake Natron, the volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai and Arusha: I smell the dryness and dust in the midday heat, the dust that fades away the bright Masai colors. A hypnotic solitude on never ending gravel roads in a semi desert, while the eye looks for endless horizons. I feel the warm air on my skin. My eyes follow the landscapes hypnotically, naturally. I use my camera in these very moments without searching, without composing, in fact without myself. Time is suspended.
